We have an array of meaningfully lead activities throughout the day. Whether you enjoy a movement activity to start your day, an intellectual discussion at book club, expressing yourself through artful projects, joining in a community adventure, or sharing a cocktail at Friday Happy Hour, there is something for everyone. You may also choose to read a book in the library, engage in quiet reflection in the chapel, watch the sunrise in the Underwood Observatory, join a virtual learning from the Manitowoc library or gather with friends for a card game in the River View Room. Residents are welcome to take advantage of the common spaces in our community to engage in deep conversations, hilarious anecdotes, or quiet thoughtful reflections.
We Love to Share Angelus
Family and friends are welcome to visit and enjoy their time with our residents of Angelus. Your apartment isn’t the only place to have a few laughs and catch up with guests. Our community has coffee and snacks available to residents and guests 24/7, and you can partake in our Friday afternoon happy hour while listening to live entertainment! Our main floor includes a library for borrowing books, playing games, or watching a Packer game by the fireplace as the snow falls outside the window. Our Community Room on the second floor boasts beautiful views of active wetlands, the Manitowoc River, and the Lincoln Park Zoo. As with any of our common rooms, you may reserve this room which includes a stove to share in cooking a family meal with loved ones. Our 3rd level includes the River View Room where larger crowds may gather, a theatre room for cozy movie nights, and our Underwood Observatory to share extended views of Lake Michigan and SS Badger sightings.
